When you are curious, you find lots of interesting things to do – Walt Disney
I am a character animator with a passion for learning, urban sketching, nature journaling and improv theatre.
After earning a medical degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), a Fulbright Scholarship allowed me to pursue a MA in Biological and Medical Illustration from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. And some years later, after working in Sweden for the Karolinska Institute as Graphic artist, I returned to school once more to study character animation, in Canada, where I currently live.
With curiosity and enthusiasm, I have collaborated with scientists, physicians, and other specialists transforming complex information into illustrations and animations. I also LOVE teaching and crafting entertaining, inspiring and educational stories, merging art with science in both digital and traditional media.
I am a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI), a Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) and Toon Boom Harmony Certified.
